Track Description:
What happens when a pastor steps down? Succession planning is the process of positioning new pastoral leaders to step in, and as its name suggests, takes a season of planning and preparation. Unlike employing external pastors, succession planning is intentional about growing potential pastoral leaders that God has given your church and journeying with them towards being effective pastors that are a good fit.
Learning Outcomes:
- Understand the levels of pastoral positions in succession planning
- Develop the ability to nurture and coach potentials at a specific level in their skill and inner life
- Learn to ascertain experience and inner life formation when interviewing candidates
Course Commitment: 2hrs per Module, 2-4 Modules based upon levels of development
