Shepherding Beyond Limits
Track Description:
The “shepherd” is the strongest picture of what it means to lead and to impact people for Jesus. It is a picture that describes caring.
As shepherd-leaders, we do not just lead in tasks, but are also called to care holistically for our members.
We may face seasons where we meet in-person or constrained to meeting online whether through work overseas or even Pandemic. Amidst these, how do we care for our members and teams in times of struggles in their lives?
Learning Outcomes:
- Understand God’s heart for caring
- Learn to listen to members stories and to care for them through connection and visitation
- Pick up ideas & dynamics for caring
- Praying pastorally for people and God’s word over them with authority
