The church community birthed by the Spirit had a genuine bond in Christ. In our busy and utilitarian society, koinonia, or the fellowship of believers can be easily missed or taken for granted, and church can sometimes become one of our many tasks and agendas. This track seeks to help small groups intentionally grow deep connections in spiritual community.

Track Description:

The “shepherd” is the strongest picture of what it means to lead and to impact people for Jesus. It is a picture that describes caring.

As shepherd-leaders, we do not just lead in tasks, but are also called to care holistically for our members.

We may face seasons where we meet in-person or constrained to meeting online whether through work overseas or even Pandemic. Amidst these, how do we care for our members and teams in times of struggles in their lives?

Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand God’s heart for caring
  • Learn to listen to members stories and to care for them through connection and visitation
  • Pick up ideas & dynamics for caring
  • Praying pastorally for people and God’s word over them with authority

Whether part of a Small Group or a Ministry, this module seeks to train leaders & core-teams in having effective pastoral conversations with members to encourage, build up & shepherd them, thereby sustain ministry momentum despite challenges.

This track seeks to give wives of leaders a biblical framework to consider their role, the season they are in and what priorities to establish for their marriage and ministry.

One body of Christ, made up of many members. How do we use our gifts in a way that is more than the sum of its individual parts? Through a biblical study of 1 Corinthians 12 and a biblically integrated DISC personality and team building exercise, we will learn how to serve in our gifts, with our Godgiven personalities, for kingdom purposes.

  • Study and reflect on 1 Corinthians 12 and be inspired to serve in your gifts
  • Go through a biblically integrated DISC personality and team building exercise to increase cohesiveness in your team

(Matthew 18:20) Come and learn together how to invite the presence of God in a powerful way to impact us, when we gather through the focus of Welcome, Worship, Word and Works (4Ws).

  • Discover a biblical understanding of “spiritual atmosphere”
  • Learn how specific skills in 4Ws can affect spiritual atmosphere
  • Focus on mastering skills of leading worship and facilitating word discussion
