Topical Tracks

TOPICAL TRACKS

Leadership

Leadership is a gift that is received, and also grown. It is something God imparts into a believer before even the believer knows it. With increasing awareness, the believer hones and sharpens it in partnership with God.

Identifying this gift, integrating it with contemporary skills, and building it upon a foundation of godly character, the believer allows God to hone this gift for deep spiritual impact!

Church Health

Church Health is an importance element to Healthy Church Growth.

How do you know whether a church is in a healthy state?

How do you diagnosis and prescribe according to the symptoms presented?

Preaching

The preaching and teaching gift is developed from small group word settings, to ministry devotional settings, to pulpit settings. Investing in a few who will labour and grow these skills will go a long way in improving the quality of learning, establishing a church that is rooted in and guided by God’s word.

Teaching

The teaching gift is developed from small group word settings, to ministry devotional settings, to pulpit settings. These teaching tracks / modules are centred around biblically derived core values and themes that are specifically designed to establish church health leading to church growth, balance and revival. They can be delivered as sermons at pulpit level, as a series in church camps, as well as night or weekend sessions.

Small Groups

“And let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching. For if we willfully persist in sin after having received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries.” Hebrews 10:24-27, NRSV

To “encourage” one another here in Hebrew means to turn a person’s direction, to change his from moving in one direction into moving in another direction. Without this encouragement and stirring, one may end up living in sin and wrong-doing that will face judgement (v29).

That is why SG (Small Group) gatherings cannot be a program, but rather a lifestyle of authenticity & accountability. Building a SG community with traits that can weather through challenging conditions is a good marker for strong & vibrant SGs.

Mentoring & Coaching

The apostle Paul once said, “For though you might have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet you do not have many fathers…”

When a church invests in mentoring, leaders and members will not be alone in serving God, they will not feel like orphans in the challenges in life.

Let’s journey together in building a culture of mentoring in our community!

Marketplace

We spend most of our time in our workplace, family and community, outside church walls. Is there a calling from God in my workplace and my activities? These modules seek to help you find conviction of our role and calling in marketplace, through transitions, and challenges ahead.

Outreach

[Jesus] said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. (Matthew 16:15-16)

Evangelism is the final mandate given by Jesus Christ to His church, and it’s 2000 years old. We want to be reminded that no matter how good or bad, how organized or messed up a person is, they all need the gospel. How can we embrace and grow an  outreaching lifestyle will stand the test of future storms and challenges?

Matrix Ministry

Just like how small groups are the ‘cells’, the basic unit that makes up an living organism, ministries are like our organs and systems that operates an integral part of a church. Healthy ministries lead to healthy church growth.

Spiritual Formation

Spiritual formation . . . is the ongoing process of the triune God transforming the believer’s life and character toward the life and character of Jesus Christ—accomplished by the ministry of the Spirit in the context of biblical community. [1]

When God called us to be His child, His plan for us is glorious, to transform us into the the person He intended for us to be.

Starting with “Journaling for Spiritual Formation”, each track / module is designed to speak to your inner being, so that we are transformed to christ-likeness inside out, and able to multiply towards God’s purposes.

Women

Women today have it good they say.

But do we agree? We know too well that having options does not mean we live better and stronger lives that have point others towards eternity.

What is God’s point of view?

How do we as Christian women live out our identity and calling? Especially many of us who often felt torn in different directions and by competing demands.

Rev. Jenni Ho-Huan has spoken to groups of women in various settings over real and important issues represented in the tracks / modules below. These themes can also be explored in a retreat setting which will bring together teaching, personal reflection and quiet, group sharing and prayer ministry.

Gifts

The “spiritual gift” is the mysterious interface between heaven and earth in the dynamic of God’s work. It is s more than a heavenly expression; it is God’s very heart to do a deep work in vour life and the life of others. There is divine blessing and guidance when we grow in our gifts. Come and learn these dynamics of the gifted life!
